WINONA, MISSOURI • FAMILY OWNED • 20+ YEARS
Hunting Runs in the Family.
For more than 20 years, Piney Ridge Ranch has welcomed hunters for good hunts, good food and the kind of experience that keeps people coming back.
We're family-owned, down-to-earth and pretty serious about hunting — because we've spent a lifetime doing it ourselves.
HOW IT STARTED
Hunting Brought
our Ranch to Life.
Long before Piney Ridge Ranch welcomed its first hunter, hunting was already a big part of life for Marvin and Debbie Francis.
After settling their family in Missouri, they spent years hunting, fishing and traveling together. Their adventures took them across the United States and around the world — from Alaska and Canada to Africa and plenty of places in between.
Eventually, Marvin began looking at their own land a little differently.
What if they could take everything they loved about those hunting experiences and create something right here at home?
That idea grew into Piney Ridge Ranch.
More than 20 years later, hunters are still coming through the gates.
A LIFETIME OF HUNTING
We've Been on
Your Side of the Hunt.
Africa. Alaska. Canada. Maine. New Mexico. Oklahoma. Florida. Louisiana — and plenty of places in between.
The Francis family didn't get into the hunting business because it seemed like a good business opportunity.
They got into it because they love to hunt.
Hunting trips became family trips. Mounts came home with stories attached to them. And over the years, those experiences helped shape what Piney Ridge Ranch would become.
That's still part of how we do things today.
We know what makes a hunting trip worth remembering because we've taken plenty of them ourselves.
THE WOMAN BEHIND PINEY RIDGE RANCH
Yes, She'll Feed You. She's Probably Hunted More Than You, Too.
For years, Piney Ridge Ranch hunters have known Debbie as the one making sure there's food on the table and everyone feels at home.
But don't mistake hospitality for lack of hunting experience.
Debbie is a hunter.
She's hunted alongside Marvin and their family all over the country and around the world — including hunts for lion, bear and other big game.
Today, she's also the one keeping Piney Ridge Ranch moving forward.
Debbie runs the ranch, welcomes hunters, keeps everyone fed and continues the family hunting tradition that has been part of her life for decades.
And if you've got a hunting story, there's a pretty good chance she's got one to trade you.

WHERE IT STARTED
Marvin's Idea.
A Family Tradition.
Marvin saw the potential for something more on the family's Missouri property and turned his love of hunting into Piney Ridge Ranch.
He built it around something he already knew well: a good hunting trip is about more than the hunt itself.
More than two decades later, Debbie and the Francis family continue running the ranch with that same down-to-earth approach.
The ranch has grown and changed. The idea behind it hasn't.
